Kenya Assemblies of God Nyahururu District Bishop Simon Kieru has taken a moment to wish Kenyans well this Easter.
The highly honoured Man of God also took a moment to remind Kenyans the importance of prayer.
“Let’s all remain prayerful and also remember to pray for our leaders so that they can lead us boldly without fear, favour, affection or ill will,” the bishop noted.
He at the same time called upon road users to be vigilant so as to avoid road carnage.
“It’s documented that 70% of our road accidents are as a result of human error. I’m therefore urging road users to exercise control while driving,” the man of God advised.
In his Easter message he noted:
“*HE IS RISEN, DEATH WAS CONQUERED!*

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
Jesus is risen. The guards couldn’t stop the resurrection of Jesus! The guards were placed at the tomb to secure it but they did know what happened. *They were here in order to stop the disciples to steal Jesus body and then tell people about the Risen Christ!* Jesus could not be held by that tomb anymore, death was defeated! Jesus overcame it!
The chief priests remember what they had done to Jesus towards his death and even now they didn’t want to be defeated in this battle. *They did everything possible to stop the resurrection. But amazingly the tomb couldn’t hold Jesus there*. Jesus untrapped their plans! They didn’t know what happened! The Angel of the Lord came down in great violent earthquake. There was great shake up, it was so violent that the stone was rolled away. *The tomb remained vacant! Jesus was not there! He is Risen!*
It is time to get us out of lock is!!.*It doesn’t matter who has planned it, who got us in, what power they used, who were in the guarding area, when Jesus comes, everything changes!*…..Let you know that there is Power from on high. *When God decides to appear, you cannot resist that powerful time! God releases the power to unlock every door, breaks through every hindrance, loosens every chains and bondages and making us free*. The devil can do nothing about it! This Easter expect things to happen in an unexplainable way!
We cannot remained locked all these years! *Let the enemy be aware we are out now in Jesus Christ Mighty Name*….My time is now, it’s my day! It’s my rising hour! Things are getting together for my good!.
*I am safe and not held up anymore in Jesus Name*. The tomb is empty and Jesus is Risen. Ameñ and Amen.”
