Early this week, a video of Kenyan artist Akothee being dragged by two men on the streets of Mombasa looking distressed surfaced sparking rumors that she could be suffering from mental health.
The speculation went on for days and the fact that she has been inactive on social media did not help things. None of her close sources came out to defend her and or clear the air and so people were left guessing.
Finally yesterday, the truth behind the video was revealed. It was all part of her latest video “Baby Daddy” which was released yesterday.
Akothee’s daughter broke the news on her social media leaving everyone relieved that it was just but a publicity stunt.
“I have grown into a lady because of the love yu have shown me….i love you mum…watch @akotheekenya new song baby daddy link on my bio…@akotheekenya ….oyaaa shes not mad…but if she was she wud stil be my mum”
