Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has apologized to Wiper Party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, for opposing him in the region and for supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 General Election.
Speaking at a meeting that brought together all Kamba leaders yesterday, Ngilu regretted opposing Kalonzo’s political career for many years.
She confessed that her opposition to Kalonzo as the undisputed Kamba political kingpin had thwarted her political ambitions on several occasions.
The NARC party leader also confirmed that she was the reason why former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s CORD lost to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee in 2013 after she abandoned the coalition.
“I opposed Kalonzo in 2007 and lost and again in 2013. This is not going to happen again” Ngilu stated.
Ngilu vowed to back Kalonzo for the NASA ticket and ensure he beats Uhuru at the ballot in August.
